August 4, 2026 – Travagliato, Italy — Luciano Bosis, the revered maker of Italian best guns, pass away on August 3, 2026 at age 83 after succumbing to illness.
Born in 1942, Bosis grew up in Brescia — the collective heart of the Italy’s gunmakers. With the region’s legion of artisans, Mr. Bosis learned his trade from the best gunmakers and engravers the old-world way. It was as culture that married precision, beauty and innovation in the creation of the some of the world’s best sporting guns.
At 12 years old, he entered his first apprenticeship, working at the bench with handtools.
In 1971, Mr. Bosis joined Perazzi where he learned the art of flawless craftsmanship and unrivaled reliability.
