Sept. 10, 2026 — Remington Ammunition announces the addition of two new loads to its Premier Nitro Sporting Clays product line. Remington Premier shotshell ammunition is a fixture on the nation’s trap, skeet, and sporting clays ranges and has earned its popularity because of consistent velocities and uniform patterns. The new loads include two 12-gauge, 2-3/4-inch, 1-ounce loads in shot size No. 7.5 and 8, with a muzzle velocity of 1,250 fps. These new products are being delivered to dealers nationwide.

“Our Premier target loads were developed with the most avid sporting clays shooters in mind,” said Ronnie Evans, Remington’s Shotshell Product Manager. “We pride ourselves on listening to the feedback of our customers, so these two new loads are powered down to a 1,250-fps muzzle velocity, which is what shooters have been asking for in this product line. Premier Nitro Sporting Clays provides the sporting enthusiast with a shotgun shell that is packed with tournament-winning components.”

Premier Nitro Sporting Clays’ unique gold hull has earned a reputation as one of the most reloader-friendly designs in the clay target-shooting world. They feature Remington’s iconic and dependable Unibody hull, along with its figure-8 style Power Piston wad, engineered to distribute pressure equally. This wad design delivers a true flying shot with consistent patterns. Premier Nitro Sporting Clays loads are available in ten total configurations and are sold in 25-round boxes.
