The new Victoria over/under from Italian gunmaker Breda embraces an artisanal “one gunsmith, one gun” approach that carries forward the craftsmanship philosophy from their 1947 entry in the sporting-gun market into 21st century digital manufacturing.
The Victoria represents an expansion of Breda’s American footprint into the luxury shotgun marketplace. Breda has been distributing their Benelli-like, Civolani-inspired inertia semi-autos in the U.S. for more than a quarter century. Lesser-known Breda Vega and Zenith over/unders have also been arriving in the U.S. since the early 2000s. But it’s the new Victoria family that aims to set a boutique standard of excellence in a price segment now dominated by fellow Italians Fausti, Beretta, Caesar Guerini and Rizzini.
