The most significant error made during a competition is not being in the moment. This means that you are thinking about things while you should have your attention focused on the target you are attempting to break. This is also the most common error people make while competing. The most frequent way shooters manifest this is by counting targets and mentally determining the significance of the last, present, or next target. Worrying about the final score takes out of the moment.
