Winning Tips from the Greats

?April 23, 2024

One of the most rigorous rules of organized shooting is that you mustn??t steal another man??s bird. It is only your bird when it is coming to you more than anyone else, or otherwise in your own proper angle of fire. Shoot only at an angle of 45 degrees right or left; do not shoot immediately in front of, or just behind, the adjoining gun.

This tip came from the book ??Robert Churchill??s Game Shooting? by Macdonald Hastings.

Just like a tailored suit, a Fausti side-by-side shotgun in the Boutique line allows its owner to fully customize their gun. And it is not just the gun, but it is the experience that becomes totally personal.

When a shotgun connoisseur goes to Fausti for a gun in the Boutique line, he/she is walked through every step of the selection process by experienced and skilled personnel, as if they were in a small workshop. No time is spared from the selection of stock shape ?? English grip, pistol or Prince of Wales, to barrel length, choke types and constrictions, trigger mechanism ?? single or double, all the way up to hand engraving signed by the artist and other finishing details that will make of his/her gun a unique piece.
