Generally, a slump is caused by a small technical error that leads to a miss, which is then compounded by a loss of confidence. Assuming you are not doing anything fundamentally wrong, your problem is likely related to that loss of confidence, which makes you try to see the process too clearly and shoot very consciously.

Focus on restoring confidence. This can start by shooting easier targets and working your way into more difficult shots. Remind yourself to see a part of the clay each time to trust your eyes.
