I think you’ll find that one of the biggest things that you’re going to need to train if you’re training on longer birds is training your eyes to move your focus from the whole target to the front of the target and to be able to talk about where you want your focus to end up in the terms of a clock. I’m going to look at the whole bird, and I’m going to be at 3 ó clock when it goes into the breakpoint; or when it gets right there, I’m going to move my eyes to 3 ó clock so that I’m on the front of it as it goes toward the breakpoint.
