The
entry level over-and-under, the Caledon represents the entry model into the Fausti
world, the ideal choice for those looking for reliability and careful

The
chrome-finished receiver presents a clear but soft contrast between the smooth
part and the laser-engraved part with traditional acanthus leaf motifs reported
in light and shade, enriched on the chest by a golden partridge in flight, as
well as in gold stands the logo on the deep black of the top lever and on the
trigger guard.
The
silver of the receiver marries with the flames of the woods, made of walnut,
subjected to the Wood Laser Grain treatment for an aesthetic result worthy of
higher-level shotguns.
It
is available in 5 gauges, from 12 to .410, with a dedicated action frame up to
28, a solution that guarantees greater elegance, better ballistic performance
and greater ease of use given by the lower weight and greater balance. The box
lock action is accompanied by a selective single trigger with clear and fast
clicks.
Like
the other Fausti over-and-under shotguns, the Caledon also boasts components
machined from solid and above all the exclusive Four Locks system: four lugs
that work together to create an unbreakable lock. Such a lock allows you to
fire thousands of shots without any problems, even with the most potent
ammunition, and improve accuracy. Indeed, it opposes the forces that would tend
to move the barrels along the vertical and horizontal axes of the receiver at
the moment of firing.
For
this purpose, a second pair of lugs inside the receiver’s sides support the
usual one carved into the monobloc of the barrels, ensuring even lateral
closure and a perfect mechanical seal. These shotguns guarantee higher
reliability and durability, even when subjected to intense and prolonged use on
shooting competition, in special hunts such as duck or drive hunts.
