The speed of your gun will get close to matching the target’s speed as it approaches the breakpoint, but it’s a gradual acceleration. The relative speed of your move will still be determined by the target speed. If the presentation is very slow, your move will be very slow. If the presentation is faster, you can maintain that initial soft lateral move, but your acceleration to target speed will be faster.
