Timing is the interval of time from when you mount your gun up to the chosen breakpoint to break the target. To set the timing of your mount, you must commit to an exact breakpoint. Haphazardly mounting the gun at different breakpoints along the target line means that you are attempting a different shot each time and there’s no rhythm or repetition in that.
