Brand new barrels, fitted to the gun 1970, are marked “Henry Atkins From Purdey’s 88 JERMNY ST LONDON SouthWest.” One rib has a gold inlay 1 and the other a gold inlay 2, all corresponding to the top lever, safe in gold, they’re a match pair with consecutive serial numbers. 2 ¾”  chamber, triple grip action, splinter forened, automatic safety, carved fences with magnificent bold acanthus engraving and simply superb scroll engraving covering 90 % of the receiver, bottom of the receiver is marked “Henry Atkins from Purdey” on both guns. Â
Double trigger, straight grip, automatic ejector, perfect drop points. These guns have gone through an extensive restoration. They have highly figured Turkish Walnut stocks with checkered butts.
