Robert does all of what you'll see in these movies and still has time to be in many of the shoot offs, himself. If you get a chance, stop in the Paxton booth at the World Shoot this year and thank Robert for providing his time and effort to document parts of our history for all to see. Without these movies, much of our sport's history and glory would only be left to our memories.
If you have home movies in any format of ANY year at the World, please contact me and I'll put it online. If you'd care to offer your services to tape parts of this year's World Shoot, please let Mr. Paxton know as he seems to be shooting better and better and could use the extra help when he's otherwise occupied trying to beat Mayes or Bender.

The Champion-of-Champions shoot off at the World Skeet Shooting Championships comes after all competitors shoot a round each with the 12 gauge, the 20 gauge, the 28 gauge, and the .410 bore. That gives the shooter a score out of 100 targets and those who haven't missed move on to a round of Doubles (at Stations 3, 4, and 5) with the .410 to weed the field down to the few that will shoot off on the Stadium field.
In 2009, the early favorite to win it outright was a past NSSA President Al Magyar who had gone a lo-o-o-o-ng time since his last title. Even his wife Trish became excited by such prospects as did several in the crowd of spectators.
